Expert tip:
If animals are already infested, it is advisable to wash them with ‘FangGold EBI-VET Shampoo against vermin’ to kill pests and rinse them out of the coat. To protect the animal from re-infestation, it should be dripped with ‘FangGold ebi-vet Spot-On’ drops after washing to prevent re-infestation.

Margosa-extract
is obtained from the seeds of the neem tree and is also known as neem tree extract. Margosa can also be obtained from other parts of the neem tree such as leaves, roots, bark, flowers and fruits. However, the seeds contain the most effective ingredients against pests. This traditional medicinal tree, also known as the tropical wonder tree, is originally native to Pakistan and India and has been used since ancient times for traditional remedies and as a defence against parasites. Neem tree extract is effective against ectoparasites (external parasites) such as mites, ticks and fleas by inhibiting their appetite and moulting metabolism (growth). It is extremely toxic to ticks but has no harmful effect on dogs, horses and many other animals, unlike many conventional chemical tick repellents and pest control products based on neurotoxins. The natural active ingredient azadirachtin is a compound that protects the neem tree from pests. The neem tree seeds have an onion-like odour that quickly fades.

Dodecanoic acid
Coconut oil contains a high concentration of lauric acid, also known as dodecanoic acid (DDA), which is known for its effectiveness against ticks, fleas and other pests. Lauric acid is deadly for these pests, as it breaks through (dissolves) the chitin armour (outer ‘skin’ of fleas) at all stages of development and thus successfully kills the pests. Lauric acid is one of the saturated fatty and carboxylic acids that have been shown in studies to repel ticks. Lauric acid is also found in breast milk, albeit in low concentrations, and also has an antibacterial, antimicrobial and antifungal effect.

Active ingredients:
25 g/l dodecanoic acid (from coconut oil), 25 g/l margosa extract (from neem tree seeds), jojoba oil, evening primrose oil.

Application:
Animal environment:
Spray the areas infested with vermin sparingly from a distance of approx. 30 cm, especially the animals' sleeping and living areas (approx. every 2 - 4 weeks, depending on the infestation).
In the case of very heavy infestations, spray FANGGOLD Ambient Spray against vermin three days in a row and then once a week for 4 weeks.

Bottle contents sufficient for approx. 6 m².

Application on animals:
Spray the areas infested with vermin sparingly. For very heavy infestations, spray three days in a row and then once a week for 4 weeks.

Also suitable for animals and the environment of other pets such as rodents and birds.
