The texture of the shampoo washes existing fleas, lice etc. out of the coat. The protective, natural active ingredients make new infestations more difficult. Pests such as various types of mites, hair lice and other ectoparasites (external parasites) are also killed, rinsed out and prevented for a certain period of time. With effective plant-based ingredients from the neem tree (margosa), dodecanoic acid from coconut oil, plant-based fatty acids and aloe vera. Our FangGold ebi-vet vermin shampoo has a repellent effect against ticks in combination with ‘FangGold ebi-vet Spot-On’ against vermin. Contains purely natural, effective ingredients from the neem tree (margosa), dodecanoic acid from coconut oil. Parasites on the animal are destroyed as the active ingredients contained in the product break down the insects' chitin, which leads to their certain death. In the case of fleas and mites, for example, this effect occurs after just a few seconds.
 

Expert tip:
For optimum protection, apply ‘FangGold ebi-vet Spot-On’ after the animal has dried and spray the lying area with ‘FangGold ebi-vet vermin environment spray’.
This provides ‘all-round protection’ and prevents further infestation.

Information on the herbal active ingredients and ingredients:
Margosa-extract
is obtained from the seeds of the neem tree and is also known as neem tree extract. Margosa can also be obtained from other parts of the neem tree such as leaves, roots, bark, flowers and fruits. However, the seeds contain the most effective ingredients against pests. This traditional medicinal tree, also known as the tropical wonder tree, is originally native to Pakistan and India and has been used since ancient times for traditional remedies and as a defence against parasites. Neem tree extract is effective against ectoparasites (external parasites) such as mites, ticks and fleas by inhibiting their appetite and moulting metabolism (growth). It is extremely toxic to ticks but has no harmful effect on dogs, horses and many other animals, unlike many conventional chemical tick repellents and pest control products based on neurotoxins. The natural active ingredient azadirachtin is a compound that protects the neem tree from pests. The neem tree seeds have an onion-like odour that quickly fades.

Dodecanoic acid
Coconut oil contains a high concentration of lauric acid, also known as dodecanoic acid (DDA), which is known for its effectiveness against ticks, fleas and other pests. Lauric acid is deadly for these pests, as it breaks through (dissolves) the chitin armour (outer ‘skin’ of fleas) at all stages of development and thus successfully kills the pests. Lauric acid is one of the saturated fatty and carboxylic acids that have been shown in studies to repel ticks. Lauric acid is also found in breast milk, albeit in low concentrations, and also has an antibacterial, antimicrobial and antifungal effect.

Aloe Vera
also known as real aloe, is generally very well known in the human field and has been used externally and internally for thousands of years in its original home countries in many areas. Aloe vera has a nourishing, disinfecting, antibacterial and protective effect on the skin. It is also cooling, regenerating, soothing, anti-irritant and provides the skin with nourishing moisture. Aloe vera is a true miracle herb.

Composition:
Water, washing-active substances (biodegradable), vegetable fatty acids, perfume (active ingredient: dodecanoic acid 30 g/l, margosa extract 5 g/l), aloe vera.

Application:
Moisten the animal's coat with lukewarm water, spread the shampoo sparingly over the coat and massage in. After a contact time of approx. 5 minutes, rinse thoroughly and dry.
Do not rub into the eyes!

Also suitable for other pets, e.g. rodents.
